.......We all Scream for Ice Cream


What's a better way to review the different states of matter than making ice cream? Using a special ice cream ball we mixed the ingredients (liquids), and started to work. This activity followed a discussion about melting point and why we use rock salt in this process. To review our science vocabulary we rolled the ball while asking and defining the words. Each student took a turn rolling the ball to a friend, while asking a science vocabee question. Friends could phone other Friends if they got stuck. After a while, we enjoyed the (solid) ice cream with a spoon ;)
