This week students worked in groups to research, and gain knowledge about Biomes.Biomes are big ecosystems. Our world is divided into several major biomes depending on soil, climate, and vegetation. Each group was assignemed a different biome, while each student had a different expertise. For example, one student was the zoologist, and had to become knowledgeable about the animals in the biome. Another was a botanist, and had to learn all he/she can about the plants in the area. The Weather person had to discuss the climate and weather conditions of the biome. As a group students created a travel brochure, and a presentation to the class. They worked all week and presented on Thursday. I was very impressed with their talent, and creativity.
