Our seedlings are growing, as well as the plants in our ecosystems in a jar. During our nature visits to the garden we were able to find evidence of life and metamorphosis. Just to name a few....Dragon flies, dragon fly nymph, exoskeletons, tadpoles, frogs, and Monarch butterfly egg on the milkweed plant.Hands on math experiences this week included, describing chance events (spinner experiment), responding to stimulus (hand gauge) , and probability (thumbtacks).
In Art A La Cart the kids learned about self taught artists, such as Grandma Moses, and Edward Hicks. Big Thanks to Claudia, Alex's mom ;D
