Today we visited the retired drilling rig, Ocean Star, in Galveston.
The museum featured many models and interactive displays that helped us understand the story of offshore oil and gas seismic technology. We were able to walk out onto the drill floor of the rig as well as see exploration platforms, actual drill bits and remotely operated vehicles.
