We will be taking the NNAT (Niglieri Nonverbal Ability Test) on October 27Th.
It is a test all 5Th graders take, and it is used by middle schools among other things to qualify a child as GT. It is a timed test. Testing spacial logical awareness. Kids are asked to analyze and figure out patterns.
Research states that there isn't any good way to practice for this test. However, I believe that for kids that never took the test it might be beneficial to see what the test is about, so that once they get the test they can start working.
